Okay! You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting as much lately. That’s because I’ve been hard at work creating a clothing and accessories line for my organization Fur Free LA. I wanted to create a fun and stylish way to promote #furfree fashion so we’re launching with a line of tee’s and tanks with our first design: Get The Fox Outta Here

Each design was tested me, not animals. ;) They’re soft, made in the USA out of eco friendly fibers, and fit your body right. I’m very happy to announce that we opened for business today! Check out our brand new site: furfreela.com

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! ♥

The cat and fox pictured above have been friends for years. They live on the shores of Lake Van in Turkey and are often seen playing together.
Look at how happy they are?

It’s hard to image that both cats and foxes are victims of the fur trade, but sadly they are. Please vow never to buy or wear real fur. Compassion is the fashion!

On January 4th it announced that The Gap had acquired INTERMIX. The Gap is very open about it being fur-free. http://bit.ly/12CNGWH In fact, all of The Gap’s brands (Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime and Athleta) are fur free.

Now that INTERMIX has a new parent company, it’s imperative that we contact The Gap and let them now how we feel about INTERMIX selling real fur.

On Monday January 7th we’re asking everyone to contact The Gap Inc and urge them ban the sale of fur at INTERMIX.

We are delighted to announce that fashion retailer Dolls Kill has gone fur free! We want to thank everyone who reached out to Dolls Kill, and asked them to sprinkle some compassion in their fashion. Dolls Kill has been incredibly cooperative with us, and is committed to keeping real fur out of their merchandise.

Not only has Dolls Kill removed all fur from their website, they have chosen to donate the remaining foxtail keychains to the “Coats For Cubs” program. These furs will be sent to a wildlife rehabilitator who will use them to aid and comfort orphaned wildlife.

Dolls Kill has also come out with their own line of “Freaking Faux Fur Foxtails” that are 100% cruelty free, proving that you can still be fabulous in faux.

All of us at Fur Free LA want to express our deepest gratitude to Dolls Kill for their compassion, and commitment to the fur free cause. Thank you! 💜

Great news everyone! I just got official confirmation from Brandy Melville USA that they are now fur free!

If your remember, I found mislabeled fur necklaces for sale at their Santa Monica location, but once word got out, they were soon pulled from their store. I waited for confirmation from Brandy Melville before announcing it, and I just got word today that they’ve gone fur free! Yay! Compassion is the fashion!
